Self-checkout for coworking spaces
Twelve companies, one fridge.
Desks rented by the month, a few day guests and a kitchen everyone shares. Bippa lets anyone in the building buy from the fridge with MobilePay, whichever company they work for, and shows the space what the kitchen actually earns.
Sounds familiar?
The tab ends up on the invoice
Someone writes down who took what, and at the end of the month a soda becomes a line on a company's invoice. Billing it costs more than it earns.
Day guests are outside the system
A guest on a day pass has no tab and no account. They either go without or take one and mean to sort it out later.
The community manager goes home at five
The fridge is busiest in the evenings and at weekends, when the person who knows the prices is not there.
How it works
1
A sticker on the fridge
The QR code opens your price list in the browser. No app, and no account for the person buying.
2
Anyone scans what they take
Members, day guests and the people at the event upstairs. Their own phone, your prices.
3
MobilePay does the rest
One tap. The sale is recorded, the stock goes down, and the money lands in the space's own account.
What it costs
One fridge is free, so you can try it in one kitchen first. 399 kr a month for a space running it properly: up to 25 kitchens, bars and shelves, and as many people restocking as you need. Bippa never takes a cut of what you sell.
See what is in each planQuestions a space manager asks
Can we put purchases on members' invoices?
No. Buyers pay at the fridge, and Bippa does not run tabs. That is the point: there is nothing to reconcile at the end of the month.
Can we see what the kitchen earns?
Put in what you paid and Bippa shows the margin as well as the takings. You can see whether the fridge is a service that pays for itself or a perk you are funding.
We have more than one kitchen.
Each kitchen is its own place to sell from, with its own QR code and its own stock, and the Compare page shows what each one sells. The Business plan covers up to 25.
Do day guests need an account?
No. The QR code opens an ordinary web page, and they pay with the MobilePay already on their phone.
Who sees the money?
Whoever you give the Money permission. The people who restock see the stock and nothing else.
Does Bippa work with Vipps?
Yes. MobilePay is renamed Vipps on 12 January 2027: same app, same agreement, same account. Members pay exactly as they do today, and nothing changes in Bippa or in the space's setup.
