Self-checkout for offices
The honour box is short again.
Drinks in the fridge, snacks on the shelf, a tin for the money. Everybody means to pay. Bippa replaces the tin with a QR code, so paying takes one tap and you can see exactly what the setup earns.
Sounds familiar?
Nobody carries cash
The tin worked when people had coins. Now it holds two notes and an IOU, and whoever set it up quietly makes up the difference at the end of the month.
One person keeps it alive
Somebody notices what ran out, buys it on the way in, and remembers what it cost. The whole thing stops the week they go on holiday.
Nobody knows if it washes its face
Is the fridge a perk that costs money or a service that breaks even? Without the purchase price written down next to the sale price, it is a guess.
How it works
1
Put a sticker on the fridge
The QR code opens your price list in the browser. No app to install, and no account for the person buying.
2
Colleagues scan what they take
They point their own phone at the barcode, or tap the item from the list. Your products, your prices.
3
MobilePay does the rest
One tap. The sale is recorded, the stock goes down, and the money lands in the company's own account.
What it costs
One place to sell from is free, so you can try it on a single fridge. 399 kr a month for an office running it properly: up to 25 points of sale and as many colleagues as you have. Bippa never takes a cut of what you sell.
See what is in each planQuestions an office manager asks
Do colleagues need an app?
No. The QR code opens an ordinary web page, and MobilePay is already on their phone.
Can we see whether it breaks even?
Put in what you paid for the crate and Bippa shows the margin, not just the takings. That is the number that says whether the fridge is a perk or a service.
What if we want to subsidise it?
Set the price below what you paid. The margin goes negative, and you can see what the perk costs you a month instead of not knowing.
Where does the money go?
Your own MobilePay account. Bippa never holds it: the payment is raised against your own sales unit and settles straight there.
We have more than one floor.
Each place you sell from gets its own QR code and its own stock, so the third floor is not guessing at the kitchen's shelf. The Business plan covers up to 25.
Does Bippa work with Vipps?
Yes. MobilePay is renamed Vipps on 12 January 2027: same app, same agreement, same account. Colleagues pay exactly as they do today, and nothing changes in Bippa or in the company's setup.
