Hand the club to someone else

Boards change. Transfer ownership to another member and they get everything, including the subscription. Only they can hand it back.

The owner is the one person who can delete the club, manage roles and hand it over. When that person leaves the board, the club moves to the next one. Nothing is re-created and nothing is lost.

Transfer

  1. Open Settings from the club's row at the top of the left menu and choose Transfer ownership. Only the owner sees it.
  2. Under New owner, search for the member and pick them. They must already be a member; an invitation cannot own a club.
  3. Click Transfer ownership, then Transfer to confirm.

The new owner gets everything you could do, including the subscription. You stay in the club as a member with whatever roles you hold. Only the new owner can hand it back.

Before you delete your own account

An account that owns a club cannot be deleted. Bippa says "Hand over your clubs first" and names them. Transfer each one, then delete the account under Your account. See Your profile, emails and deleting your account.

The subscription and the billing email

The plan belongs to the club, not to the owner, so the transfer does not touch it. The Billing email under Subscription is where receipts go; if it was the old owner's own address, change it. A shared mailbox such as kasserer@klubben.dk survives the next handover too.

Put a sticker on the fridge this weekend.

Create your club, add the products you already sell, print the QR code. Bippa is not a point-of-sale and never touches cash, so there is nothing else to set up.
