Add a point of sale and print the poster

A point of sale is somewhere you sell from. Each one gets its own QR code, printed on a poster that goes on the door.

A point of sale is a place you sell from: the fridge in the clubhouse, a shelf in the staff room, a stall on match days. Each one has its own code. The Free plan allows one; see Plans and what they include.

Add one

  1. Click Points of sale in the left menu, then Add a point of sale.
  2. Give it a Name buyers will recognise, such as "Clubhouse fridge". It is printed on the poster.
  3. Add a Description if it helps you tell places apart later. Buyers never see it.
  4. Under Money goes to, pick the MobilePay account this place charges. If no account is connected yet, buyers can scan but nothing can be charged until you connect one.
  5. Click Add it.

Print the poster

Click Poster on the point of sale's row. The Print a poster dialog shows the club's name, the place's name, the QR code and three steps for the buyer, in Danish. Click Print.

Anyone with the code can buy. It does not expire, and printing it again gives the same code, so a torn poster is just a reprint. Copy the link gives you the same address as text, for a notice board or a group chat.

The poster is A4 and reads best at eye height on the fridge door. Put a second copy on the wall behind the till if the door is often open.

Pause a place

Open the row's menu, click Edit and turn Open off. Buyers who scan the code see "This place is closed" until you turn it back on. The poster keeps working, so this is the way to close for the season.

Archive a place

Archive in the same menu stops the code for good and takes the poster's code with it, so the poster should come down. Sales already made are kept, which is why the place is archived rather than deleted. Archived places still count towards the plan's limit.

Put a sticker on the fridge this weekend.

Create your club, add the products you already sell, print the QR code. Bippa is not a point-of-sale and never touches cash, so there is nothing else to set up.
